Hi,

We got a "curly" tervueren in the last laekenois litter we did. It was an in breeding on a laekenois which has probably some working malinois lines....

It's surprising this hair's type, not enought rough and curly to be a laekenois, but too much curly for a tervueren ....
But sometime you can have a laekenois born from two malinois, and sometime you have a tervueren born from two malinois too, so if by bad luck one dog inherits of all involved alleles, since there are co-dominance for hair's nature, it's actually possible to give it this hair's type I think ....

After, if I had to classify her in a variety, for me she isn't a laekenois, but a tervueren with with a bad hair texture, but maybe it's because I breed tervuerens, I'm curious to see what think about Laek's breeders ?

I think, as Félinea, that this dog is more a tervueren with a bad hair texture. He doesn't look like a laekenois, he has no mustache nor trim on his head, it's a "curly tervueren" :? .

Like Feli and Drena, I think the same thing, it's a tervueren, with curly hair.

Bad texture for the standard so... but she is still very cute. ^^ She have a nice black mask, and I love her scoundrel expression on the latest photo !
